These are the natural folds that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth, which deepen and get more prominent with aging. Reduction of the depth of the nasolabial fold is a frequently performed dermal filler treatment. Because of the risks, due to the anatomy in the area, blunt ended cannula are always used by Eastbourne Aesthetics which significantly reduces bruising and also any significant complications. After a thorough medical assessment and discussion about your wishes ad expectations your consent will be taken. Numbing cream is applied to the area to be treated to significantly reduce your pain before the filler is introduced under the skin with a cannula. Detailed aftercare instructions are given to you and a follow-up appointment is arranged for 2 weeks later. Usually nasolabial fold filler lasts 6-12 months.

Because of downward muscular pull, gravity and loss of elasticity these lines form and deepen as we age. Both downturned corners of the mouth and volume loss can be filled in that area.
